1. What am I not allowed to bring onto the premises?

It is prohibited to bring into the festival area objects that endanger the physical integrity of others and are dangerous to public safety, in particular firecrackers, rockets, any kind of pyrotechnic device, striking or cutting tools, weapons, glass objects, pointed umbrellas, hammers, and alcoholic beverages. Possession and consumption of drugs in Nigeria, including at the festival, is against the law.

2. Entry

Entry to the Makemation National Youth AI Tech Festival is free but registration is required. The event’s data protection policy is available on the festival website (www.makemation.com).
 In the case of people with a permanent illness or disability, it is important that such a person can only join the festival with a companion.

3. Absorption Capacity

The festival’s event venues have limited capacity. In accordance with safety regulations, when the maximum capacity of a given venue is reached, the organizers may, in coordination with the security service, restrict access to a given event area or program element.

4. Rules of Conduct

Our goal at the festivals is to provide a cultured and undisturbed experience and entertainment for everyone. All attendees at the festival areas are required to behave in accordance with general standards and to refrain from any actions that may harm or endanger the life, physical integrity and personal rights of others. Attendees are particularly required to protect natural resources and refrain from littering. It is prohibited to light fires in the event area.

5. Audio and Image Recording

The event will be recorded in audio and video. All participants who appear in the recordings may only be named with their consent, but no claims may be made against the organizers, the creator of the recording, or its legitimate users. Professional audio and video recordings, as well as any drone recordings, may only be made at the event with the prior written permission of the organizers.

6.Medical Service and Hygiene

The event features a full-day medical and ambulance service, as well as a Rest Tent staffed by professionals.

7.Responsibility

The Organizers exclude any liability for accidents occurring outside the event area. The Organizer’s liability within the event area is subject to the cases specified in the law. The Organizer assumes no liability for objects or valuables left unattended within the event area.
